The Floreat Character Programme 

The Floreat model is based on the classical ideal of education. It introduces children to the best that has been thought and said while preparing them to seek a good life for themselves and others.

The Floreat Character Programme supports a ‘taught’ and ‘caught’ approach to developing children’s character virtues in school.  

• Culture and Training materials break down how we habituate and model virtuous behaviour.   
• The Virtue Literacy Programme guides teachers to use thoughtfully sequenced children's stories to explore character virtues in class. 
• Service Learning provides opportunities to practise virtuous behaviours in school and the wider community.
